BASIS Independent Schools is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Assessment Project Manager to join our Curriculum Team.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking an Assessment Project Manager who will lead the development, coordination, and management of assessments across BASIS Curriculum Schools. This role ensures that internal and external exams are delivered with consistency, accuracy, and integrity. You will partner closely with Subject Advisors, curriculum leaders, and campus teams to support exam creation, administration, data analysis, and assessment system management.

Your Primary Responsibilities

* Develop and manage testing schedules for internal and external assessments (e.g., Comprehensive Exams, OECD Test for Schools, CTP).

* Coordinate high-stakes exam creation with Subject Advisors, including timelines, proofing, and editing.

* Conduct initial item analysis to determine exam quality and validity.

* Deliver training and provide support to school-based assessment teams on test administration and security.

* Administer and support assessment systems including GradeCam, SharePoint, and Schoology.

* Maintain organized digital systems of best practices and assessment resources.

* Support item-writing training and manage item banks and exam databases.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data collection and special projects.

* Serve as liaison to internal teams and external providers to ensure excellence in assessment delivery.

Position Qualifications

* Strong commitment to the BASIS Curriculum, educational model, and academic excellence

* Minimum of 3 years' experience within BASIS Curriculum Schools; experience with comp courses, Subject Advisory, or Academic Programs strongly preferred

* Excellent project management and organizational skills

* Effective communication and collaboration skills

* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and SharePoint; familiarity with Schoology and assessment systems preferred

* Must obtain valid Fingerprint Clearance Card or applicable background check for school site visits
